Hope Lutheran Church

Our Mission at Hope Lutheran Church is to proclaim and study God's Word and administer the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Lord's Supper, through which people receive the living hope which comes by grace through faith in Chirst Jesus.

To achieve our mission we:

Honor the Lord through worship:

-Encourage congregational participation in worship.

-Maintain doctrinal content in agreement with the three Ecumenical Creeds.

-Provide frequent opportunities for participation in the Sacrament of the Altar.

-Adhere to the biblical warrant for all things to be done in good order.

Open the Scriptures:

-Strongly emphasize the need for attendance at and participation in regular Bible study opportunities for adults and children.

-Encourage the use of Bibles during worship.

Pray:

-Establish and promote participation in an on-going prayer ministry among the members of the congregation.

-Promote the developement of individual prayer lives.

Evangelize:

-Cutlivate an atmosphere of unconditional love for all people, to the unchurched and especially to those who are part of the household of faith.

-Identify and support mission opportunities both at home and abroad

-Introduce the community at large to the wrok of ministry at Hope Lutheran Church and in the LCMS.
